Our evaluation process starts with a thorough diagnostic assessment conducted by one of our in-house addiction professionals. Being referred for an evaluation does not guarantee that clients will be referred for treatment or other services. A Substance Abuse Evaluation examines past and present substance use patterns, family background and relationships, medical status, educational background, and any history of substance abuse treatment.

Credits Earned

After each evaluation, a written report is sent to the referring agency. If we identify a substance use diagnosis, we then assess the severity of the substance abuse and determine the minimum level of care needed for the individual to safely and successfully achieve sobriety. The recommendations in the Evaluation Report are based on each client’s personal history, legal status, and risk of ongoing substance use as determined during the evaluation.
